Mas de les VinyesWine as a Way of Life
Mas de les Vinyes nestles in the Montsant river hollow, in Cabacés (Priorat). Sand, chalk and clay landscapes imbue the vineyard’s philosophy, which is based on the
quality and singularity of its wines and their connection to the land, with meaning. The open landscape and sharply contrasting day and evening temperatures have produced a place filled with olive, peach, cherry and almond trees. This environment keeps the farm busy year-round.
The new brand identity has taken these factors into account, along with others including the expertise Mas de les Vinyes uses to create wines that are sincere, complex and yet easy to appreciate. We therefore decided to create a visual environment based on serif font influenced by the tradition of 18 th century British lettering and heavily dominated by black and white. This reflects the powerful Montsant orography (of the compact mountain on which the property is located), which is a place of strongly contrasting light and shadows.Art Direction / Brand Strategy / Corporate Identity / Digital
